Progress Festival 2024
Progress festival is built by hand and created by individuals passionate to create the ultimate playground for us to enjoy. We take pride in our community that comes together each year to make this possible. The festival site is put together with love, through reusing, repurposing and upcycling. Come experience the magic of community!
A festival by Progress Outdoor Surf hostel; A community of like- and open minded individuals who come together in our hostel over surf, art and music. In our first edition, fittingly titled ‘A Decade of Madness’Â we invited all of you to join us around a beautiful lake on a sunny day in France. Together we danced, swam, hugged, ate and filled the night with madness that is still echoing on to this day. Now it’s time for our third edition, and rest assured, we are going bigger and better.Â
The festival opens its gates at 13:00 and will end at 06:00 the following day. Immerse yourself in a complete day and night experience. Spend the day dancing at the lake beach, chilling in a rubber donut with an ice cold beer in hand, absorbing tunes from our floating water stage. Enjoy some food as the sun sets and let your body do the work as our selection of incredible DJ’s takes you on a journey that won’t end till sunrise.Â

Neutral Stage
Music will be played here to suit all tastes. You can think of this as the main stage because it will also be the biggest stage. There will be several bands performing and DJs that will definitely make you dance!

Ancestral
This stage will mainly have a more relaxed vibe. Nice to chill out, relax and enjoy the music, but of course you can also move those limbs! Some (live) performances will go back to the roots of our human musical history from all parts of the world.

Astral
This stage is all about taking you to other dimensions. The harder, darker styles of the electronic music spectrum will be offered here. Are you ready to go to another galaxy?

Activities & Workshops
SUP (Free)
Another workout/workshop that we offer during the day is SUP-ping or Stand Up Paddling. You can train your core stability on these large surfboards, that you can stand on without waves. Your body needs to balance a bit all the time and balancing is good for all the other board sports out there.Â
SKATE RAMP (Free)
A mini-ramp will be built on our festival site especially for the occasion! Skaters can show their craziest tricks on our festival ramp and win nice prizes sponsored by @stokedboardshop! Enjoy the ride (or the show)!
SLACKLINING (Free)
Slacklining is a good way to train your core stability and super fun to do! Your core stability helps you to keep your balance while doing board sports.
BALANCE BOARDING (Free)
Another way to train your core is balance boarding. During the day you can try this out on the festival site. A better balance is good for any boardsport and a good workout.
JETSKI (More info coming soon)
At our private lake you can drive a jetski without needing a license during the day! You can register for one of the time slots during the day itself at the activities booth. It doesn’t matter whether you are a total beginner or already an experienced rider.
WAKEBOARD (More info coming soon)
On the lake you can wakeboard behind one of our jetskis during the day! You can register for one of the time slots during the day itself at the activities booth. It doesn’t matter whether you are a total beginner or already an experienced rider.

FREE PARKINGÂ
Shuttle
You can book a transfer to and from the festival if you don’t have your own transportation. The shuttle leaves from Camping Les Cigales. Departure times to be announced. There are limited spots available on the shuttle, so don’t miss out!Â
Camping & Parking
Coming from an outdoor surf hostel, you can imagine we are quite the fan of being able to camp out anywhere you want. Nothing beats partying until you can’t no more, before crawling into your tent and waking up to the sun bouncing of the beautiful lake, and people jetskiing.Â
You can camp and park for free on our festival site upon presentation of your festival ticket! Bring your own tent and supplies, bring a group of your favourite people, and experience the Progress festival in full glory; by ending the night in a tent!Â
Do you have a campervan? You can camp on designated area’s on our festival site for free.
